Anguiano Art Trade: Gathering Supplies

I just spent the past 4 days gathering supply paper and finding the perfect beginning book cover for Aguiano Art's trade. This journal is going to be a steampunk sea and ship themed with splashes of maps, charts, illustrations and art pages. There will be plenty of blank paper as this is going to an amazing artist. I am planning on heading out to the shop right now to start on the cover. I will post pictures as I make this one. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my new favorites...lots of love going in to this!

The Steampunk Engineer's Arm Spring Loaded Holster

This is long over due but I have to mention Andrew's engineering skills and do a little bragging. A woman came to him and asked if he could create a arm holster that was spring loaded, so when triggered would reveal a gun ready to grasp and shoot. It has been seen in old films and tv shows such as the 'Magnificent Seven'. This is a fun item to wear and really compliments the wild wild west or even a mob type costume. There is nothing better than a mechanical element added to any serious costumer. This is just one example of what Andrew can engineer. He is willing to work with other artists on collaborations or with a customer on coming up with the perfect gadget. When a project interests him he works on it till it is perfect and will not be satisfied till it is done. If you are interested in having one of these custom arm pieces created for you, or have an idea but no way to execute it, contact Andrew at andrew@anglincues.com.
